Police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint in North Philadelphia after following her from the subway.
Authorities said the incident happened May 26 around 9 p.m. near 15th Street and Lehigh Avenue. The complainant reported that she got off the subway at the Lehigh station and exited the concourse when she noticed an unknown male following her. The suspect approached her, placed a knife against her stomach and forced her into a parking lot near 15th Street where he raped her.
The suspect is described as a black male, 50 years of age, 5 foot 7 inches, dark brown eyes with thick eye brows and bald. He was last seen wearing black cargo pants, a blue apron, red shirt with white, yellow or lime green stripes around the collar and bottom of sleeves, black boots, and a black and tan jacket.
