Revere police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who they said stole a firefighter's wallet while he was out battling a blaze.

Police on Tuesday released surveillance images of the woman with the hope that someone will recognize her.

On July 7 firefighters left the Revere Central Fire Station on Broadway to battle a fire on Revere Beach, police said. While fire crews were out, a woman, along with two children, entered the fire house and walked around. Police said she later took a wallet belonging to one of the firefighters that was out responding to the fire.
