The City Council will vote tomorrow on slashing the maximum fine for street vendors.
Council Speaker Christine Quinn announced last week that the Council planned to pass legislation that would halve the maximum fine from $1,000 to $500.
Tomorrow, vendors from the Street Vendor Project will be at City Hall to rally for Council members to approve the bill.
The Street Vendor Project said today members will also attend the hearing to celebrate the planned passage.
