D.A.: Couple started fight that led to gunfire, left child, 6, behind
Melissa Feliciano, 23, and Emanuel Cosme, 22, allegedly started a large fight that led to gunfire, but left Feliciano's 6-year-old son in a car's backseat.
Two people were arrested on Friday for allegedly starting a violent fight in Kensington while leaving a 6-year-old child in the backseat of a car.
Melissa Feliciano, 23, and Emanuel Cosme, 22, are charged with riot, conspiracy, child welfare endangerment, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and weapons offenses.
Prosecutors said the couple on April 24 started a fight on the 3000 block of Boudinot Street "that quickly grew in size and ultimately ended in gunfire."
They're accused of leaving Feliciano's 6-year-old son in the backseat of a car "in close proximity to a firearm."
Both suspects were arraigned Friday night.
They were jailed in lieu of $500,000 bail and are next due in court for a preliminary hearing on May 9.
