PHILADELPHIA. A day after a man sentenced to life for murder was released following 28 years behind bars, the district attorney’s office defended the guilty verdict.
Kenneth Granger, 52, was convicted in 1982 of shooting Edward Harris.
Defense lawyers claim they discovered information that was not presented at the original trial.
