A 16-year-old boy is dead after sticking his head through a hatch in the roof of a double-decker party bus going across the George Washington Bridge to New Jersey on Friday night.
Daniel Fernandez, a junior at St. Francis Prep in Queens, was celebrating with 65 other teens as part of a Sweet 16 party when the bus went under an overpass as it came off the bridge into New Jersey.
He hit his head, causing severe and fatal trauma.
