Dead body slides out of coroner van and into traffic

A local MMA fighter spotted a dead body on a gurney rolling through traffic on a busy Bucks County road on Friday.

A local Mixed Martial Arts fighter spotted a dead body on a gurney rolling through traffic on a busy Bucks County road Friday and then helped return the deceased to the county coroner's vehicle.

"Just when I thought I've seen everything," Jerry Bradley wrote on his Facebook page, "That's a dead body on a stretcher that launched out of the back of a coroner's vehicle in Feasterville."

Bradley, who is affiliated with a MMA training academy in Bensalem, posted a photo of the lifeless body strapped to a stretcher and gliding through traffic down a busy Street Road on Saturday.

He told the LevitownNow.comthat at first he though it was a prank, but after he realized the severity of the matter helped the driver stop the gurney and get it out of the road.

In a news release obtained by the Levitown website, the Bucks County coroner's office said a door on the coroner's van malfunctioned and the corpse slid out onto a busy Street Road in Feasterville.

The coroner's office said the driver quickly retrieved the body, and it "Deeply regrets the decision."
