The medical examiner officially ruled the death of a 3-month-old girl in June a homicide.

On June 22, police responded to a 911 call reporting a child who was having trouble breathing at 50 E. 168th St. in the Bronx.

According to police reports, officers arrived to find an unconscious 3-month-old baby girl. Emergency medical personnel rushed the baby to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition.

The infant succumbed to her injuries four days later, police said.

Yesterday, the medical examiner ruled her death a homicide, citing trauma to her torso and head.

Police are now investigating the baby girl’s death.
