Delaware job applicant steals from tip jars

That's probably not the best way to go about getting the job.

 

Police in Rehobeth Beach, Del., said a 44-year-old woman stole about $15 from two tip jars after filling out a job application at a Five Guys restaurant last Friday, Delaware 105.9 FM reported.

 

Melissa Brittingham, of Rehobeth Beach, was arrested after a review of her application and surveillance video from the Rehobeth Avenue franchise. She pleaded guilty to one count of theft and was given one year's probation and must pay $500 in fines and court costs.
