Disney on Ice performers hosted a special birthday bash Monday at the Boston Common Frog Pond to benefit the American Cancer Society's AstraZeneca Hope Lodge.
Led by Disney icons Mickey and Minnie Mouse, visitors competed in birthday games and a series of ice challenges to win 100 Disney on Ice tickets, which will be donated to families served by the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge.
The center, located in Jamaica Plain, provides free lodging for cancer patients traveling more than 40 miles to their outpatient treatments.
"Disney on Ice: Let's Celebrate" will run at TD Garden on Feb. 14-23.
