Dispatcher retrial begins

A former Boston police dispatcher went on trial again yesterday for allegedly stabbing her husband in 2007.

Jury selection began yesterday in the retrial of Sharon Fitzpatrick, 39. Authorities said she stabbed her husband, Sylvester Mitchell, on his 40th birthday in their Dorchester home.

The jury in her trial earlier this year deadlocked.
