Donovan McNabb was arrested in Arizona in January for a DUI, reports say.
News gossip website TMZ is reportingthe former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was arrested in Maricopa County and hashed out a plea deal with prosecutors. The news outlet reported that he served one day in an Arizona jail.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office released his mugshot toKTVK-3TV in Phoenix, but did not include any further information.
Arizona radio station KTAR reported earlier that McNabb,currently an analyst for “Fox Sports Live,”received a criminal traffic citation in January, and is set to appear in court on May 16. It's unclear at this time whether the incidents are linked.
McNabb, whose No. 5 jersey number was retired by the Eagles in September, played a little more than 11 seasons in the NFL including stints with the Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings.
