The Boston Duck Tours boats have sure racked up the miles in the last decade thanks to the Hub’s sports teams.

The boats will add a few more miles this weekend when they host the Red Sox for yet another World Series victory parade on Saturday.

Boston Duck Tours posted on its Twitter page that the parade would be held Saturday. During a TV interview with WBZ, Red Sox owner John Henry said he was “hearing” Saturday, but that it wasn’t official.

Mayor Thomas Menino said that plans for the parade would be announced Thursday.

The Red Sox won their third World Series title in 10 years on Wednesday night when they defeated the St. Louis Cardinals during Game 6. It was the first time the Red Sox won the championship at Fenway Park since 1918.
