Bostonians, get your Eastie on.
This weekend, Eastie Pride Day, East Boston’s long-running festival, will kick off its annual block-party.
The city celebration has been bringing neighborhoods together since 1989 and this year’s theme, “ A Musical Reunion” will be no different.
Featuring performances by East Boston’s own Pat Benti, Smokin’ Joe Cheffro and a long awaited 40 year reunion of “The Originals,” the fest will host Eastie’s most famous musicians.
Last year’s event hosted over 2,500 attendees and this year, Eastie Pride has even more to celebrate, according to the event’s website.
