A 65-year-old Queens man was struck and killed by an MTA bus while crossing the street Sunday night, authorities said.
Kenneth Yard was attempting to cross Rockaway Boulevard near First Street about 11:40 p.m. when he was struck by the bus traveling northbound on Rockaway Boulevard, police said.
Yard was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The bus operator remained on the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
