Family afraid for son missing in area

The parents of a 24-year-old man who is apparently missing somewhere in Greater Boston pleaded for the public to help with his safe return.

David Mark’s black Chevy Cobalt was found on Middlesex Road in Newton Wednesday, two days after he left his home in Albany, N.Y., police said.

He was last seen at the Beer Works near Fenway Park Wednesday afternoon.

Mark’s parents and police are fearful for his health because he is likely without medication for his illnesses.

“David suffers from type 1 diabetes and his family’s fear is that David does not have his insulin with him,” police said.

Without the insulin, Mark could become confused. He also has Asperger’s syndrome and takes medication, which he also does not have with him.

Mark has a distinctive eye twitch and walks in a stiff manner. He is 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
