A $25,000 reward is now on the table for anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the armored car robbery last week in Northeast Philly, authorities said.

According to FBI Spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski the armored car company, Garda, is posting the reward in hopes of tracking down the two armed-robbers who held up the car outside a Wells Fargo bank on Halloween on Frankford Avenue in Holmesburg.

Witnesses said the two men were wearing masks similar to those worn in the hit horror classic, "Scream." Authorities said the men then intercepted the guard's deposit of about $300,000 in cash.

Authorities believe the two men then escaped in a stolen green minivan, which was later abandoned a few blocks away.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-tips (8477).
