A popular South Jersey diner was gutted by fire late Sunday night.

The destructive blaze happened at The New Golden Dawn Diner and Restaurant in Maple Shade about 11:15 p.m., NBC10 reports.

No one was hurt in the fire, which was sparked just after the diner on Route 38, near Route 73, had closed for the night.

It took about 60 firefighters roughly 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.
