A fire broke out in the sub-basement of the popular clothing store Century 21 in Lower Manhattan around 1:30 p.m. today, the FDNY said.
Twelve units responded to the fire. The store was evacuated while firefighters dealt with smoke and made sure that the fire was extinguished. The store is back open for business now.

No cause for the fire was given.
