The course is open free of charge to all veterans and active duty military personnel, and Fordham instructors will provide support as the participants write short stories about their experiences. The finished work will be compiled and published in the tenth edition of an anthology called Afterwards. Previous editions have included stories from veterans of World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The 10-week course begins this week with two different sections meeting on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Those interested can sign up here.
