Four people, including a 5-year-old child, are in critical condition after a fire tore through their Bronx home early Friday morning.
The victims were pulled from the third floor of the Schuylerville home shortly before 4 a.m., New York Daily News reports.

They were all in cardiac arrested and taken to Jacobi Medical Center in serious condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
One of the victims in the fire is Ramon Velez, son of the late Bronx politician Ramon S. Velez, the News reports. Neighbors said that the other two adult victims are Velez' wife and his mother-in-law.
