Four teens shot during drive-by outside East Germantown corner store

Police said four people, aged 15, 16, 17 and 20, were shot Saturday during a drive-by outside the Edison Mini Market at North 21st Street and Medary Avenue.

Four teens were hospitalized Saturday night following a drive-by shooting outside an East Germantown corner store.

Police said the victims were outside the Edison Mini Market at North 21st Street and Medary Avenue when, around 8:30 p.m., an unknown vehicle came to a rest at the stop sign and someone opened fire from the passenger side.

Four young men were injured by gunfire.

One victim, 15, was shot in the foot; a second victim, 16, was shot in the calf and ankle; a third victim, 17, was shot in the shoulder and buttocks and a fourth victim,20, was shot in the buttocks.

All four teens were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in stable condition.

Police believe the car used in the crime was a gray or black sedan, possibly with three occupants.
