Authorities are trying to determine what happened to a man found mostly buried in a snow bank behind a bathhouse on Revere Beach.
A passerby who noticed a limb protruding from the snow discovered the body about 8:30 a.m. yesterday.
Authorities said they have made a tentative identification of the man, who they described as an Asian man in his early 20s, but did not release his name pending notification of his family.
Investigators are searching for answers including how the man died.
“There were no signs of blood or obvious signs of foul play at the scene,” the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
An autopsy will be conducted today instead of yesterday because of the “effect of the cold on the remains.”
