Police are searching for a man they say lured a 12-year-old girl into his vehicle and committed a criminal sex act in Queens on Sunday.
The suspect approached the victim near the corner of Lincoln Street and 116th Avenue in South Ozone Park about 2:30 p.m., police said. He engaged her in conversation and then had her get into his car.
Once inside the vehicle, the suspect drove to a nearby location, exposed himself and committed a criminal sex act. The victim managed to get out of the car and ran to a friend’s house, who called 911, police said.
The girl was treated at an area hospital and released.
Police have released a sketch of the suspect as well as footage of his vehicle.
He is described as a black male in his 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white undershirt, red jacket, red sneakers, a red and white baseball cap and a silver chain hanging to his waist.
