Girl, 13, shot in the eye by stray bullet in North Philadelphia

Police said a 13-year-old girl was shot by a stray bullet Sunday on the 2300 block of Norris Street in North Philadelphia.

A 13-year-old girl was shot in the eye Sunday afternoon in North Philadelphia.

Police said the bystander was on the 2300 block of Norris Street around 4 p.m. when she was struck by a stray bullet that came from the area of Judson and Norris streets.

The child was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where she was in stable condition Sunday.

No arrests have yet been made.
