Girl, 6, hit and run victim

A 6-year-old girl was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Allston this weekend and police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver.

The girl was hit about 8:20 p.m. Saturday near Cambridge Street and Harvard Avenue. She was taken to Children’s Hospital with head trauma.

Police are searching for a silver Jeep Cherokee with front-end damage.
