Transit officials said a “slow moving trolley” with no passengers derailed and “made contact” with another trolley around 4:15 p.m. today on Huntington Avenue between Brigham Circle and Longwood Medical Area stops.
MBTA Spokesman Joe Pesaturo said that two passengers and a trolley operator reported back and neck pain.
Pesaturo did not say how many total passengers were involved.
The collision caused delays, and according to reports, closed a portion of Huntington Avenue.
