Hamptons Restaurant Week kicks off

If you don’t have $400 bucks to shell out in a chic East End restaurant, you’re in luck. The ninth annual Hamptons Restaurant Week kicks off on Sunday, March 13, and will last for eight days.

Over 40 exclusive Hamptons restaurants will be serving up three-course prix-fixe meals — that usually go for well over $200 — for only $19.95 or $24.95.

“We are thrilled to be part of this event,” said Ingrid Lemme, a spokeswoman for Gurney’s, a celebrity hot spot eatery in Montauk. “We’ve been taking part in it since it began and believe it’s a wonderful way to experience East End cuisine for a reasonable price.”

Aquatic Lounge in Watermill will be serving their signature dish “Los Dos Tuna” — ahi tuna atop Moroccan vegetable tabouli. Seared Atlantic salmon is on the menu at the Living Room in East Hampton.

Diners may also try discounted bottles of wine from participating Long Island vineyards.
