A Montgomery County man died Sunday during a guided snorkeling tour in Hawaii.
According to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser the body of John Ready, 73, of Hatboro, was found floating about 100 yards from shore around 12:15 p.m. local time. Ready was supposedly on a snorkeling tour near Wailea Point in Kihei, near Maui, according to the newspaper.
He was pronounced dead at Maui Memorial Medical Center shortly after he was found.
Ready was taking part in a Pacific Whale Foundation cruise boat, the newspaper reported.

The cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
