A high-end Russian madam whose wealthy clients paid $800 to $1,000 to have sex with her hookers — who she touted in online ads as a military surgeon, an Olympic athlete and a lingerie model — was busted by federal officials yesterday.
Though on her tax returns Naira Jalovian, 29, claimed to be a housekeeper earning $14,000 a year, she told an undercover agent — posing as a corrupt law enforcement official she bribed to help eliminate competing rings — her prostitution business netted $30,000 to $50,000 a month, according to a criminal complaint.
Jalovian had a web of Manhattan apartments where her girls would work while she ran the ring from her home in Jersey City, traveling to New York regularly to pick up the proceeds.
In her online advertisements, the women were called “independents,” so they wouldn’t appear to be working for an agency, which attracts enforcement scrutiny, the complaint said. Jalovian also told the undercover agent “she steered clear of drugs, underage girls and clients who were politicians or famous.”
Her clients were wealthy businessmen and professionals, mostly from the greater New York area.
