Massachusetts dairy company Hood Ice Cream will hand out free ice cream this week at City Hall Plaza to promote its new Harvey Bar.
Hood representatives will be at City Hall Plaza today from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. to dole out the creamy concoctions, and it doesn’t end there.Hood will offer the bars on Thursday and Friday as well.
According to the company, bow-tied pedicab drivers will distribute three flavors of the Harvey Bar, each coated in chocolate: vanilla, vanilla crisp and cookies ’n’ cream. The new bar, introduced this spring, is named in tribute to Hood founder Harvey Perley Hood.
To sweeten the deal, ice cream recipients will also get a Hood coupon.
