Hundreds of cyclists attend midnight ride of Boston Marathon route

Hundreds of cyclists piled their bikes into Commuter Rail trains and took off for Hopkinton to take part in the 2012 Midnight Marathon Bike Ride.

Attendees biked from the starting line at midnight, prior to race day, all the way back to the Hub.

When they got back, they refueled with an early morning breakfast at South Street Diner.

The event was organized and sponsored by the Boston Societies of Spontaneity.
