Griselde Camacho,44, a public safety officer at Hunter College was killed in Wednesday morning’s building explosion in East Harlem
Camacho had worked for Hunter College since 2008 and was assigned to the Silberman School of Social Work building.
“Our hearts go out to Griselde’s family at this terrible time,” Jennifer Raab, president of Hunter College said. “We know this is a difficult time for all those who knew and worked with Sergeant Camacho, whether at the Silberman School or as part of the public safety office. All of you will be in our thoughts in the days ahead.”
