An inmate was found dead in his cell at a Suffolk County jail over the weekend.
Rohan Blackwood, 28, was found unresponsive inside his cell at the South Bay House of Correction, according to the Globe.
Blackwood, who was serving time for assault with a deadly weapon, was found by a correction officer conducting rounds just after midnight on Saturday. The guard issued an alert and attempted CPR, but Blackwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities told the Globe there was no indication of foul play or suicide, but officials are investigating.
