NEW YORK. Who’s your hero? Is it someone who’s devoted themselves to improving your community?
If so, enter your hero in the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum’s 2010 Hometown Heroes contest. Submit an essay nominating your local hero, and they could win the recognition they deserve, and prizes, to boot!
Submissions are due by Aug. 31. Winners will be honored at the Intrepid’s fifth annual Hometown Heroes Day on Sept. 19, 2010.
