BOSTON. They may soon be stars to you, but they’re regulars to Will Clark, general manger of Beacon Hill’s Harvard Gardens. Regulars who work across the road at Massachusetts General Hospital, that is.
Some of those familiar faces are featured in a new ABC documentary, “Boston Med,” which follows the staff at three Boston hospitals — Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Children’s Hospital — in an eight-part series, premiering tonight at 10 on Boston’s ABC affiliate, WCVB-TV 5. Harvard Gardens’ flat-screen TVs will be tuned in to watch, particularly because several scenes were shot there.
In eight hourlong programs, executive producer Terry Wrong — whose previous documentaries include “Hopkins” and “Boston 24/7” — follows several doctors and nurses at work. The real-life drama includes heart and face transplant surgery, two stories that tragically and miraculously become intertwined.
