Cablevision customers were swiftly nearing their second Sunday without access to Fox broadcasts on Thursday. Jets owner Woody Johnson on Wednesday contacted both News Corp. and Cablevision in hopes of a limited truce to broadcast Sunday’s big game against the Green Bay Packers. As of Thursday night, there was no indication the two sides were any closer to a deal.
