With all of the trash-talking Jets coach Rex Ryan has done leading up to Sunday’s game against the Patriots in Foxborough, Metro thought we’d help Ryan get off on the right foot by highlighting some places he can step out during his trip to the Boston area.

Reports recently surfaced that Ryan’s wife may be the star of foot fetish videos posted on YouTube. While some reporters have said the voice of the man taking the video sounds like Ryan, the coach has called it “a personal matter.”

Given that development, Metro’s research shows Ryan may like to add a pedicure at Emerge salon on Newbury Street to his itinerary. Ryan won’t miss a beat of his planning sessions because the salon, which caters to male clients with its men’s club, features flat-screen televisions and Internet access.

“There’s a VIP way of getting all of the services done. It’s a very quiet area and we do have different types of people come in,” said Cristina Maria Wurster, the salon’s director of marketing. “Privacy and customer service is our main focus here.”

Despite many Patriots fans at the salon, Wurster said Ryan would be welcome at Emerge. He would just have to be a licensed technician before he touched anyone’s feet.

There’s also Moxie’s shoe boutique on Charles Street that was listed on the MySecretBoston blog as having a “warm, whimsical atmosphere.”

If Ryan can’t find the time to make it to the Hub, then there are plenty of resources online.
Bostonfootfetish.com is a directory that posts pictures of women's feet with descriptions and e-mail links for the ladies.

Unfortunately for Rex, Footnight, a site that lists “foot fantasy” gatherings, doesn’t have any upcoming events for the Boston area.

But if all goes well on Sunday, Tom Brady and the team in blue could help Ryan make it to Footnight's next event by giving him an early offseason.
