One firefighter was injured after flames tore through a two-story, vacant Kensington row house and splashed onto two others early yesterday morning.
Heavy fire was reported around 4 a.m. on the first and second floor of the 600 block of East Clearfield Street, and then it spread to two neighboring vacant properties. There were no evacuations, and no other injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The firefighter was treated and released from the hospital.
