A plow driver in Lakeville said he was attacked by a man wielding a shovel during Saturday’s snowstorm.
Douglas Haskell was arrested for the attack and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to WFXT. He will be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
Police were called to Churchill Road about 8:30 p.m. because the plow driver said he was hit in the head by Haskell. The plow driver is Haskell’s neighbor. He had a cut above his eye and was treated by EMS, but did not want to be taken to a hospital.
Lakeville is in the southeastern part of the state and received more than 7 inches of snow during the most recent storm over the weekend.
