NEW YORK. Two former employees of Mario Batali’s restaurant Babbo sued the celebrity chef on Thursday over alleged wage violat-ions. Waitress Stephanie Capsolas and kitchen runner Hernan Ricardo Alvarado claim the “Molto Mario” star and co-owner Joseph Bastianich cheated them out of wages and overtime pay at the famed Greenwich Village eatery. The restaurant declined to comment.
