A 24-year-old Long Island man is the newest local Internet sensation.
Matt Fox, also known as The Fox Experience, created “Rex’s Gang Green,” a hip-hop song he hopes will provide the soundtrack for the Jets’ playoff run.
The Great Neck resident, a songwriter/composer and owner of Fox Experience Publishing, created the song. Friend Sean Henry raps lyrics like, “This is our home team, we rock the dark green” and “We are from New York, we got the smack talk.”
“Lyrics are the easy part for me,” Fox writes about his work on his website. “The hard part is melody.”
The tune, available on iTunes, has gotten more than 31,000 YouTube clicks so far.
