Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed home invasion in Brooklyn that was foiled by a 10-year-old victim earlier this week.

Jayquan Straker, 24, and another man allegedly entered the Canarsie home off East 80th Street at about 5:15 p.m. on Monday. They demanded cash from the nine victims inside the home, cops said. When one of the suspects pointed a gun through a doorway, one of the victims slammed the door on his hand, causing him to drop the firearm, according to police.

A 10-year-old boy picked up the gun, shot at the suspect and missed, police said. The second suspect then fired his gun but also struck no one. The two suspects fled the home without any cash. [videoembed id=164300]

One of the men was wearing a FedEx shirt, police said.

Straker has been charged with robbery. Police are still searching for the second suspect.
