A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a Manhattan woman this weekend.

 

Police say Leroy Forest was operating the dark gray SUV that struck and killed 24-year-old Abigail Lino as she ran across Bruckner Boulevard near Austin Place in the Bronx about 3 a.m.Saturday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Forest was arrested on Sunday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
