A 59-year-old man died this morning after he was struck by a SEPTA bus in Center City Philadelphia.
The fatal accident happened at Chestnut and 22nd streets about 6:15 a.m., NBC10 reports. The bus was making a left turn when it hit the pedestrian.

The victim was pinned under the bus. He was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
None of the seven passengers on the Route 42 bus was injured in the accident. The passengers were picked up by another bus.
