A 59-year-old man was shot and killed in Philadelphia's Kensington section early Thursday.
The fatal shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. on the 2600 block of Jasper Street. Police arrived to find the victim with gunshot wounds to his head and back.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:05 a.m.
Police did not immediately identify the victim Thursday morning. No motive has been identified and police did not release any suspect descriptions.
