A Lynn man was arrested last night after transit police say he allegedly rubbed his crotch against a woman's backside on an MBTA bus on Broadway in Chelsea.
Bobby Deleveaux, 24, was charged with indecent assault and battery after the female victim reported the incident to Chelsea Police.
MBTA Superintendent-in-Chief Joseph O'Connor told Metro today that in
this case, the victim felt the suspect behind her, rubbing up against her buttocks "in an indecent manner."

Transit Police Chief Paul MacMillan said in a statement, "First, I applaud the courage of the victim to come forward and report this incident. We believe these types of crimes are under reported. These incidents will not be tolerated and the transit police will investigate all reports..."
MacMillan went on to say that officials will be " unrelenting" in their pursuit of offenders.
"We encourage anyone who have been a victim to please report it to us," he said.
O'Connor agreed: "We want people to trust their instincts and immediately report any type of indecent touching."
