Summerdale man charged in Northeast double homicide

Philadelphia police announced this morning that they have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a double homicide in Northeast Philadelphia earlier this week.

Darren Williams was arrested Thursday night at his home on the 800 block of Anchor Street. He is charged withshooting and killing 18-year-old Lauren Fenningham and 24-year-old Sean Neal inside Neal's home on the 2800 block of Sebring Road early Tuesday.

Fenningham, who was shot in her head, was pronounced dead at the scene. Neal, who was shot in his stomach, was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Campus for treatment, but died later Tuesday.

Williams is charged with two counts of murder and numerous weapons offenses.

Police say Williams used a shotgun to kill Fenningham and Neal.
