A man who was taken to Temple University Hospital in a bullet-riddled car died of his wounds early Friday.

 

The shooting happened about 1 a.m. on the 2900 block of North Bancroft Street, 6ABC Action News reports.

 

 

The 29-year-old victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, according to the report.

 

Philadelphia police are investigating two fatal shootings in the same neighborhood during the week.

The 29-year-old man was fatally wounded near the scene of another fatal shooting just two days earlier. A man was shot and killed at the intersection of West Cumberland and North Bancroft streets early Wednesday.
