A masked man tried five times but ultimately failed to firebomb a Kensington home about 2 a.m. on Jan. 9, police said today.
Police released surveillance video on Monday that shows the man light the Molotov cocktail all five times and throw it at the front window of the home — on the 2600 block of North Frankford Avenue — five times, only to watch it bounce off the house and land on the sidewalk.
On the second to last attempt, it ricochets back into his face.
After that, he tries one last time, but then gives up and runs away.
